The resurrection of Colonel Townshend

There are people able to suspend their own lives and then restart them. True resurrection is the ability to "die", stop the pulse and all apparent signs of life, and by ones own volition start them again. But this whole area raises questions - just when is a person dead? This account comes from a book entitled "The Wonders of the Little World" written by Nathaniel Wanley (1634 - 1680), and the account is provided by Drs. Cheyne and Barnard. It is about Colonel Townsend, who apparently died from a nephritic [kidney] illness only to resurrect himself.
