NZ Deputy PM Winston Peters Receives Peoples' Terms of Reference for Covid Inquiry

The people of New Zealand are currently paying Tony Blakely more than $1,500 per day, to lead a Covid Inquiry. Blakely advised Australia's Victorian government using predictive mathematical models suggesting lockdown was the only way to protect against a respiratory virus which floats on air currents for hours to days. He has close ties with Moderna and has said that the Covid Inquiry will not look at vaccine safety or effectiveness, as that is the job for someone else. Prior to Covid, Moderna had never brought a product to market but during Covid they became one of the leading product profiteers, earning billions of dollars and sweeping their CEO, Stephane Bancel, into the billionaire class which increased by one billionaire every 30 hours during the crisis. simultaneous to the lower classes going bankrupt, becoming homeless, and in the third world, dying of starvation amongst other horrors.

33,000 New Zealanders have signed a Peoples' Terms of Reference to demand that the Covid Inquiry investigate the harms caused to New Zealanders including in relation to vaccine safety and effectiveness, but also loss of jobs, homes, financial security and more.

Deputy PM Winston Peters, accompanied by MP Tanya Unkovich, met with Claire Deeks and Alia Bland from Voices for Freedom, at the Beehive (national parliament) in Wellington, on Thursday 9 May 2024, to receive the Peoples' Terms of Reference on a proper inquiry, separate from any industry influence. This means removing Tony Blakely from his position in the Inquiry and placing independent commissioners on the panel, as well as broadening the scope of the inquiry to cover the entire experience of everyday New Zealanders.
