Bengal tigers, scientifically known as Panthera tigris tigris, are majestic creatures renowned for their striking orange coat with black stripes, powerful build, and captivating presence. As the national animal of India, they symbolize strength, grace, and beauty. Bengal tigers are apex predators, mainly found in the dense forests and grasslands of the Indian subcontinent, particularly in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Myanmar.

These magnificent cats are carnivores, primarily hunting large mammals such as deer, wild boar, and buffalo. They are solitary animals, except during mating season and when raising cubs. Despite being solitary, they are territorial and fiercely defend their territories from intruders.

Sadly, Bengal tigers are endangered, primarily due to habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict. Conservation efforts are crucial to ensure the survival of these iconic creatures for future generations.
