Stocks and bonds soar while more Americans lose jobs and investors are starting to make more money of bonds, or debt than stocks because the Fed has left interest rates too high for too long. Roughly one in 37 homes are now considered seriously underwater in the US and that share is much higher across a swath of southern states. American workers should expect thousands more layoffs in 2024. The Fed wants to help Biden get elected, but the Fed will throw Biden under the bus if it has to, even while Biden ironically escalates Trump’s disastrous trade war with China. Biden and Trump both want to look hard on China. It’s going to backfire on American consumers one way or another. China will probably become the world’s largest economy by the end of the decade directly due to the Fed’s deliberate studpidity on behalf of the BIS it seems. North Korea wants to join BRICS+. CBDC is spreading to Hong Kong. Rwanda wants retail CBDC to turn its citizens into slaves. The Central Bank of Chile sees no need for CBDC but will probably assimilate to it any way.
