Michael Cohen to testify in Trump trial on Monday

Former President Donald Trump’s ex-lawyer, Michael Cohen, is expected to testify on Monday in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case regarding a $130,000 payment made to adult actress Stormy Daniels in 2016.

This payment was allegedly to keep Daniels from disclosing a sexual encounter she claimed to have had with Trump in the early 2000s.

Cohen, who served as Trump’s personal attorney at the time, later received multiple payments of $35,000 from Trump.

Bragg’s indictment accuses Trump of falsifying business records based on these payments, arguing they were reimbursements for the payment to Daniels, Fox News has reported.
