About the documentary:

"Frank Terpil worked for the CIA and was a close friend of Ted Shackley. He ostensibly left the agency in 1970. In 1980, Terpil was charged in absentia in the Arms for Libya case, together with Edwin Wilson, for conspiring to train Libyan terrorists in making bombs and for shipping tons of C-4 from the US. Terpil fled the US and as of 2014 was one of more than 70 US fugitives reported to have received safe haven in Cuba.

In 1982, journalist David Fanning and director Antony Thomas produced Frank Terpil: Confessions of a Dangerous Man, which won the Emmy Award for best investigative documentary."
