David Irving Manipulating America into WW2 1989.

David Irving, the brilliant author and incredible researcher talks to a rapt audience in Canada in 1989. His speech concerns how the USA was manipulated into the so-called World War Two, in this Samisdat produced video (58 minutes). David is introduced by Frank Schmidt of the Historical Society. Frank says that David is a "beacon" as a historian who has the courage to tell the truth. Frank also quips that David speaks fleunt German and much better than some people who are native to Germany today. David recieves raptuous applause from the excited audience, David is a great speaker, and true to form he certainly lived up to it today. David talks about his time in Germany working in a steel mill to perfect his German. It was there that he began to learn about the horrific air attack by the RAF and USAF on the city of Dresden. Eventually he wrote a book about the Destruction of Dresden, which became a best selling book. From his success, David decided to be an writer. In research for his books, he visits many archives. Here he moves onto the main theme of his speech. David talks about the "gaps" in archives. There is little attention given to documents or files that have for various reasons have been "removed". In this regard he talks about Pearl Harbor, and the coderbreakers in Bletchley Park, England, which in 1941 was 3,000 in number. The number of American codebreakers was about180. David contrasts the British and American archives as to intercepts and decrypts of Japanese codes. David shows that Winston Churchill had complete access to all decrypts. These decrypts showed that Hitler had no intention of ordering a invasion of the UK, but Churchill played up the "threat" for propaganda purposes, especially in regard to USA. David also reveals that Churchill also knew that Hitler had embargoed an air attack on London. David reveals very interesting facts in his speech. This is a fantastic speech by David, highly informative and very witty!
