SKIVING LEATHER WITH A CUSTOM ROUND KNIFE

Just a quick two and half minute video of me using one of the round knives I make to skive a scrap piece of 7/8 ounce Hermann Oak leather. I'm using the smooth side of a glass cutting board for a skiving surface. You can get the glass cutting board at Walmart. The knife is full-tang, handmade from AEB-L stainless, heat treated to RC-62, cryo-quenched, triple-tempered, and convex ground with Loveless fasteners and DymaLux scales. These are also called head knives. www.GibsonLeather.com
