Bodycam Footage Shows Armed Felon Grab Female Officer in Headlock Before He's Shot by Her Partner

Friday, February 9th, 2024, the Fontana Police Department Gang Unit was involved in an operation in the city of Yucaipa with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. During the operation, our officers stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. During the stop, the suspect produced a firearm he had on his person. As a result, an officer-involved shooting occurred. The suspect was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. Officers were not injured.
