An unorthodox ride into a world of real freedom

1,000 miles south of the border and along Mexico’s west coast a little band of motorcycle wonderers spend the hardest months of winter. In time, two of us would leave the others behind to ride ancient motorcycles high into the mountains. Camping along the road, bathing in rivers, hanging in different towns, meeting different folks (including the cops on two occasions), and just generally enjoying life freedoms, that little excursion would last more than a month. This video depicts the first part of that ride.
