On Tuesday, Seattle City Council candidate Tariq Yusuf (@tariqajyusuf)draped himself in a Hamas keffiyeh, masked up with his Antifa comrades, and assaulted our TPUSA Frontlines crew at the University of Washington. He also got in our face and made menacing gestures several times.
Thankfully, my security team immediately identified his erratic behavior and swiftly handled this threat. Despite being neutralized, he kept following us and harassed us all afternoon. As you can tell, he's not a UW student.
Yusuf's behavior should be a warning sign to all voters in this city. He clearly lacks any emotional intelligence and is already a divisive character. No way the new moderate city council could co-exist with this violent far-left activist.
