It was always going to rain in the Lake District, but Kev and Nic’s team constructed a tent that survived 1000s of gallons of water to host a lineup that included Professor Dolores Cahill, Katie Hopkins, Matt Le Tissier, Peter Wilson, Sovereign Pete, Tom Numbers, Martin Geddes, Allegedly Dave, Clive de Carle, Ben Hunt, Phil Escott, Dee Mani, Kali Spell, Steve Attridge, Ian Jarvis, and…me. (Kate Sherimani couldn’t make it for personal reasons, unfortunately).

As usual, I trusted my intuition to lead what I had to say to complete my hour on stage.

A few people moaned about my cussing, but they’re missing the fucking point.

Most people enjoyed it and I was pleased to be there.

I also took it upon myself to bring four of my amazing teenagers to England for the weekend, so quite a bit of effort was required to show them around the stunning Lake District in Cumbria instead of them getting restless in a field.
