The state has approved 12-million-dollars in low-income housing tax credits

The credits will cover about 90-percent of the funding for the affordable housing project. Construction is expected to start early next year and will build 32 one-bedroom and six two-bedroom apartments in downtown Holland at which used to be the site of the Community Action House. Rent will start at around 400-dollars.
