West Nile Fever

West Nile fever is caused by a virus spread primarily through mosquito bites. Here's the cycle: Infected birds act as a reservoir for the virus. When a mosquito bites an infected bird, it picks up the virus. Then, if that same mosquito bites you, you can become infected.
