In Matthew 24, Jesus the Messiah of Israel gave us specific signs of what to look for before the rapture, the end of this age, and His second coming.
.
Matthew 24:3 KJV - And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world (age)?
.
We see today a rapid increase in volcanoes, tornadoes, fires, mudslides, earthquakes, floods, diseases, false prophets, and false Christs all around the world. Many of these events would be considered "pestilence" or similar to the plagues God YHVH inflicted on Egypt in the days of Moses. We also see an increase in Christian persecution even in America, UK, China, Pakistan, Canada, and more. This lines up with the signs Jesus speaks of before the end of the age and His Second Coming:

Matthew 24:4-13 KJV - And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. [5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. [6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows (birthpains). [9] Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. [10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. [11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. [12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. [13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

In the biblical passage above, Jesus says when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. We are seeing all of these converge with precision.

These Matthew 24 birth pains (Matthew 24:4-13) or in some translations "sorrows" are steadyily increasing in frequency and intensity just as a pregnant woman experiences birthpains, until the baby is born. Yet the labor day is the most painful. This metaphor of a pregnant woman in pain is also echoed in the 1511 KJV Apocrypha in the Book titled 2nd Esdras (Ezra):

2 Esdras 16 (KJVA) - [37] Behold, the plagues draw nigh, and are not slack. [38] As when a woman with child in the ninth month bringeth forth her son, with two or three hours of her birth great pains compass her womb, which pains, when the child cometh forth, they slack not a moment: [39] Even so shall not the plagues be slack to come upon the earth, and the world shall mourn, and sorrows shall come upon it on every side.

The day of the LORD comes with sudden destruction, as the end of this age is as a woman who is in labor, and her painful contractions continue until the labor day comes - Daniel's 70th Week. WW3, Cyber Attacks, Blackouts, riots, economic collapse, famine, murder, unbridled chaos and lawlessness, mandatory ungodly laws, Marshall Law, a New World Order Takeover.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 KJV — For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

The end times birthpains are increasing in frequency and intensity at the same time Israel the fig tree is replanted in the Holy Land just as scripture has prophesied (Ezekiel 36-27, Joel 3). The descendants of Israel must be in the Holy Land for the final 7 years of tribulation to begin according to the Daniel 9:27 prophecy where the AntiChrist will confirm a covenant or "peace deal" with the nation of Israel and many nations and begin building the third temple (Revelation 11) and the reinstituting of the daily animal sacrifices.

Prophecy says the AntiChrist will later betray the covenant and commit the Abomination of Desolation in the middle of Daniel's 70th Week (Matthew 24:15, 2 Thessalonians 2).

The birthing period that brings forth the Kingdom of Christ begins with sudden destruction and is followed by the appearance of the False Messiah the AntiChrist who promises peace but only brings 7 years of tribulation to the earth. By peace he will destroy many.

The Kingdom of the AntiChrist will rule the New World Order Government, and with it will be an AntiChrist One World Religion and will put to death all who do not show allegiance (Revelation 13). Yet, those who die for Christ will be resurrection and added to Christ's body afterwards upon His return (Revelation 20:4).
