Join me on Day 89 of my sobriety journey as I reflect on a pivotal moment: moving in with my family in Sri Lanka. Leaving behind the comforts of Scandinavia, I found myself in a humble home, devoid of luxuries like doors or a proper floor. The starkness of our living conditions, including a primitive toilet, was a stark contrast to my previous life.

Sharing a bed with my mother that first night, we cried together, releasing pent-up emotions and embracing this new chapter in our lives.

Ren's poignant track 'Dear God' resonates with me deeply, prompting contemplation on the nature of life itself. I ponder the idea that life may be more than just our human experience, perhaps part of a greater, more advanced program.

Join me in this reflection on life's complexities and the journey we're all on, seeking understanding and meaning in our existence.
