Israel says video shows tanks seizing Rafah crossing

The Israeli military said on Tuesday (May 7) it had taken operational control of the Palestinian side of Gaza's southern Rafah Crossing, which borders Egypt and has been pivotal for the delivery of aid and the exit of injured people in the Gaza war. Reuters was able to locate the footage of Rafah crossing from matching the building layout, road and vegetation layout as seen on file and satellite images. Reuters was not able to independently verify the footage.
