The Unseen Continuation: Operation Paperclip and the Hypothetical Endurance of a Nazi Agenda

The defeat of the Nazi regime in 1945 marked the end of World War II in Europe and the cessation of a horrific chapter in human history. The Nuremberg Trials aimed to bring justice to the perpetrators of the Holocaust and other war crimes. Yet, the lesser-known Operation Paperclip presented a morally complex chapter in the aftermath of the war. This covert operation facilitated the transfer of over 1,600 German scientists, engineers, and technicians, including former Nazis, from Germany to the United States. This essay hypothesizes that instead of being defeated, elements of the Nazi regime were transplanted into the United States, where they clandestinely influenced the trajectory of American power and policy with the ultimate aim of global dominance.
