Psalm 36: Between Shadows and Light

This Psalm explores the stark differences between the wickedness of man and the divine mercy of Yahuah. As transgression whispers to the lawless, the fear of YAHUAH remains absent from their eyes, setting a scene where self-deception and evil plots abound. But against this dark backdrop, the boundless kindness of Yahuah shines forth, extending from the heavens to the clouds, illustrating His perfect justice and deep, unfathomable judgments.
Yahuah’s love and faithfulness provide a sanctuary for all who seek refuge under His wings.
PSALMS 36
Transgression speaks to the lawless within his heart;
Fear of Alahim is not before his eyes.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes,
To find his lawlessness to be hated.
The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit;
He has ceased to be wise, to do good.
He plots wickedness on his bed;
He sets himself in a way that is not good;
He does not despise evil.
Yahuah, Your kindness is in the heavens,
And Your integrity reaches to the clouds.
Your obedience is like the mighty mountains;
Your directives are a great deep;
Yahuah, You save man and beast.
How precious is Your kindness, Alahim!
And the sons of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
They are filled from the fatness of Your house,
And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.
For with You is the fountain of life;
In Your light we see light.
Draw out Your kindness to those who know You,
And Your obedience to the upright in heart.
Let not the foot of pride come against me,
And the hand of the lawless drive me away.
There the workers of wickedness have fallen;
They have been overthrown And have been unable to rise.
