Victor Cruz, 13, diagnosed with rare heart condition, gets transplant

APR 24, 2024. Victor Cruz celebrated his 13th birthday just weeks ago. He was perfectly healthy. But then he got stomach issues. He turned out to have fluid in his abdomen, which caused by a heart condition called dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM).

He needed a new heart and successfully received a transplant.
