STAND UP

Hold the line, for the medical profession
Against Vaccine Passports, for your business’s progression
If you can’t save yourself, you cannot be saved
Because you can’t free slaves who feel safer enslaved
The regulations don’t make sense, just stop complying now
Get back to normal, to common sense, show others how
The face coverings they mandate, well they don’t work at all
Reminder of a childhood past, comfort blanket 'case you fall
To stop it now, is up to you, if not it will continue
To rule your life, what you can do, and with whom you can mingle
So stand up now, for what is right, or else you’re going to lose it
You’ll never know how good it was, but your kids will not peruse it
Tinfoil hatters, anti-vaxxers, terrorists and thieves
Conspiracy theorists, climate extremists, fit the box to tick with ease
For the ones you love, who you can’t reject, stand up now and do your bit
With love and hope and happiness, show them your fighting in their interests
Some lights shine brighter than others, many less distinguished
The dim continue to diminish, until eventually extinguished
Shine brightly on the dim ones, put aside your opinions
Share love and forgiveness, because hate is not your business
