HowTo hp pavilion laptop hard drive seagate

Turned out that the hard drive was bad.
I replaced the hard drive with a Seagate Barracuda Pro Performance Internal Hard Drive SATA HDD 1TB 7200RPM 6Gb/s 128MB Cache 2.5-Inch (ST1000LM049) Part # 2GH172-024.
