Is Joseph Smith a prophet? Is the Book of Mormon true?

One of the main doctrines that sets the LDS church apart from other Christian denominations is the requirement of Priesthood Authority. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Catholics are about the only denominations that teach priesthood is essential. Why do none of the other sects of Christians teach or require priesthood ordination?
Is priesthood ordination and authority actually required or is it just fluff?
I present how the Bible teaches Priesthood authority is 100% required, and without it, a church cannot be the same Church that Christ established while He was on the earth.

I believe the restoration of Priesthood Authority testifies that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, that the Book of Mormon is true, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's true church on the earth today.
