I highlight the fact that if people can see how hard you work and how much you understand what you're doing, they'll know you're really good at it and trust you or hire you to work with or for them.

But if they can't see that, they'll just think you're average.

It's important for people to see you as someone who's ambitious and wants to do a great job.

And if they can't see that right from the get-go, you need to work harder.
