Ukraine cuts education in Russian despite language’s popularity

Kiev's commissioner for linguistics has accused Russia of attacking its language, demanding the Ukrainian government to be more aggressive in promoting Ukrainian nationalism. Over the past two years, the number of Russian language schools in Ukraine has been reduced from 29 to 3. We hear from Finnish journalist Janus Putkonen, who says that so-called Ukrainization is a means for Kiev to control ethnic Russians.
