The ‘Handala’, named after the iconic symbol of the Palestinian people, is “For The Children of Gaza”, and aims to challenge and break the illegal blockade of Gaza, to shed light on the inhumane measures taken against Palestinian children by Israel, and to highlight the complicity of European and US governments in the ongoing genocide. To be clear, this is not the Freedom Flotilla’s humanitarian aid mission, but it is one of our vessels, and we couldn’t be more proud.
