Moroccan Date & Walnut Smoothie
This creamy and satisfying smoothie is a taste of Morocco in a glass! Packed with dates, walnuts, banana, and milk, it's a delicious and healthy way to start your day.
Ingredients:
• 5-6 pitted dates (Medjool or Deglet Noor work well)
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
• 1 ripe banana
• 1 cup chilled milk (dairy or non-dairy)
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
• 1/4 cup chopped dates and walnuts (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
1. Prep the Dates: If using whole dates, remove the pits and chop them into smaller pieces.
2. Combine Ingredients: Add the chopped dates, walnuts, banana, milk, and cinnamon (if using) to a blender.
3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
4. Pour and Garnish: Pour the smoothie into a chilled glass.
5. Optional Garnish: Sprinkle the chopped dates and walnuts on top for extra texture and sweetness.
Tips:
• For a thicker smoothie, use less milk.
