Israel opens crossing to Northern Gaza for aid supplies after demands from the US

Israel opened a border crossing on the northern edge of Gaza on Wednesday, and trucks with aid supplies were allowed to pass through the checkpoint. The move came after Washington demanded that Israel do more to address the worsening humanitarian crisis.
