The Hunters

Upon the clouds, where heavens meet the air,
In righteous glory, caught beyond compare,
Those deemed worthy, in a moment's flight,
To stand with the Lord, in celestial light.
As thieves in night, the day of judgment nears,
A reckoning swift, foretold in ancient seers,
Behold the fishers, casting nets of grace,
Then hunters come, sin's darkness to efface.

From every mountain, every hidden place,
They'll seek the sinners, in righteous chase,
For wrath and anger, fierce in its might,
Shall cleanse the land, in the Almighty's sight.

Howl, oh earth, for doom is drawing nigh,
The day of the Lord, a tear in the sky,
As darkness falls, and light begins to wane,
The wicked tremble, in their final reign.

Woe unto those who crave the day's release,
For darkness comes, and offers no surcease,
Like fleeing from a lion, met by bear,
The day of the Lord, a dread affair.

But for the righteous, a new dawn shall rise,
As heavens melt, and earth's old form defies,
A new creation, where former fades away,
In the New Jerusalem, eternal day.

No more sea, no more sorrow, no more pain,
Only those inscribed, in the Lamb's book remain,
For the fearful, the unbelieving, the unclean,
A fiery fate, where darkness reigns unseen.

So let us strive, to walk the righteous path,
To escape the wrath, to escape the aftermath,
For in the end, it's not our deeds alone,
But the Lamb's grace, that makes the righteous known.
