In these chapters, we continue reading the genealogy of the children of Israel, leading up to the captivity of the Israelites. And the reason for the captivity… abandoning God. We see some call-outs, like Jabez, who prayed in a way that God took heed, and answered his prayer. Read along, and learn of the interactions between God and mankind.
