"Just A Little," written by Robert Durand and Ron Elliott, was the Beau Brummels' second consecutive top 20 hit and their highest charting single landing at the no. 8 position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1965 (whitburn, 2013). The song was produced by Sylvester Stewart (aka Sly Stone of Sly & the Family Stone) (lyrics, 2013). "The band's original lineup included Sal Valentino, Ron Elliott), Ron Meagher, Declan Mulligan, and John Petersen" (bandcamp, 2024). Drummer Petersen left the band around 1967 and joined Harpers Bizarre (prabook, 2021). The band appeared, in animation, on the hit TV show "The Flintstones" in its final season (1965) in the episode "Shinrock A Go-Go" as The Beau Brummelstones (flintstones, 2024). They performed their first release hit "Laugh Laugh" (youtube, 2012).
