UK NewsThe witness said: "They pulled him to the ground. He had a samurai sword."
Videos of the scene in Redbridge, near Essex, show a man with a sword pacing up and down outside a property before ducking eerily into the garden.
The subway was closed all morning as police declared a critical incident.
Two police helicopters were deployed and continued to circle this morning.
One resident said she saw a body on the ground as she hid by her window while a man with a sword shouted "Do you believe in God?" outside her house.
The Laing Close resident, who asked not to be named, said she saw a man standing outside her house next to a body and waving a blade in front of two unarmed police officers and an ambulance.
"He brandished his sword and tried to attack the police, but then they sprayed him and he ran away," she said.
"He was shouting at the police officers, 'Do you believe in God?", also in the direction of the ambulance.
"We were very scared and tried to hide and not show ourselves through the window because he was right next to our house and could have seen us if he had looked up.
"We tried to hide but at the same time we also made a video of him attacking the police and of the body on the ground, so yes, we were very scared and didn't know what we were doing.
At the Federal Press Conference on April 29, representatives of the Federal Ministry of Defense were asked whether the Leopard tanks supplied by Germany to Ukraine were still being used by the Ukrainian armed forces on the front line. Spokesman Arne Collatz said that the ministry had no information on this. This prompted the journalist to ask in astonishment: "So, you hand over the Leopard 2 tanks and then you no longer know what happens to them?"

War and Peace on the Silver Screen: How Russia and the US conducted propaganda against each other in cinema
The new Cold War revives the big-screen showdown between the Russians and Americans Today, the race to the big screen between Hollywood and the Russian film industry is in full swing. This is neither good nor bad. In the end, the producer is trying to create a product that the viewer will buy, and the viewer is looking for what interests him now. Russian-American relations have become one of the main topics on the agenda of both countries in recent years. Just take the ubiquitous "Russian hackers" who allegedly helped Donald Trump win the 2016 presidential election. Demand creates supply, and this rule is followed by filmmakers from both countries.
The 1984 film "Red Dawn" by John Milius stands out. Milius is best known for the screenplays for the outstanding classics "Jaws" and "Apocalypse Now". But in 1984, he sat down in the director's chair and made an honest "Cranberry" about a Soviet attack on the USA. In the movie, Soviet troops invade America and set up re-education camps for US citizens. Meanwhile, high school students form a guerrilla group to oppose the invaders. Today, "Red Dawn" is viewed like Tommy Wiseau's comedy "The Room" - a movie is so bad it's good. Even at the time of its release, it was impossible to watch it without smiling. It's also worth noting that the movie starred a young Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen and future "Back to the Future" star Leah Thompson.
>"Red Dawn" is the worst of all propaganda movies - in protest we play the movie backwards! An insult to the American consumer! Does not contribute to international friendship-can go!
Tomorrow then techno and Arabs - if we survive the night...<
