4-year-old Stone Hicks battling end-stage kidney disease gets his wish of becoming a police officer in Orlando, Florida. Stone has been battling kidney disease since he was a baby. His father even donated one of his kidneys to Stone 2 years ago. The Orlando Police Department decided to welcome Stone to their team who is now an honorary police officer. "Our kids go through so much when they battle their critical illness, so we’re really here to celebrate him and give him that hope, strength and joy in his life,” said Make-A-Wish Northern & Central Florida Anne Cuba. "Him being in the police cars, rushing to the bad guys and arresting them, it was a full-on experience for him, one I’m sure he won’t forget," said Stone's father.
