William Jacobson: ‘Radicalized’ humanities professors are the most active in anti-Israel protests

Cornell University Law Professor William Jacobson says college faculty’s response to the anti-Israel protests breaks down into two groups: “the Humanities and Social Sciences versus everybody else.” “These professors in those disciplines, gender studies etcetera, truly believe that being activists on campus and leading students to activism is part of their teaching mission. They don’t view it as something that’s wrong or outside. So they are the problem on the campuses,” he says. “If you were to eliminate those departments and fire everybody, a lot of this agitation will go away."
