BBC reporter reveals emotional toll ofcovering war in Gaza | BBC News

For months BBC reporter Adnan El-Bursh reported onthe war in Gaza while living in a tent, eating one meal aday and struggling to keep his wife and five children safe.

Since the attacks on Israel on October 7th more than100 journalists have been killed in Gaza according tothe organisation Reporters Without Borders. Israelsays it take all reasonable measures to mitigate harmand never deliberately targets journalists.

Adnan has been keeping a video diary documentingthe harrowing moments he has faced covering a warthat pushed him to his limits.
