Storm Shield Forecast morning update 4/9/18

A strong ridge of high pressure is building over California this morning, bringing a jump of more than 10 degrees to Kern County. Expect Bakersfield to top out at 84 this afternoon, one of the warmest days so far this year. As for the rest of Kern County, some desert cities like Ridgecrest and California City look to jump to the low 90s today while Lake Isabella tops out at 78 today and Tehachapi and Frazier Park are pretty similar, with highs in the low 70s this afternoon.
