Trump surrounded by military leaders in October 2017 tells a bewildered media that this image represents "the calm before the storm."
When a reporter pressed him for answers:
"What storm, Mr. President?"
He smiled and said: "You'll find out."

This occurred after Trump's world tour where he visited Saudi Arabia and applauded Bin Salman as he arrested and detained a myriad of people.
Today, Trump's photographer is haunted by a private moment with him years ago.
"He calmly looked at me and said, 'I am the storm.'
Even then, I had those words ringing out in my brain.
I keep thinking to myself. There is only one person who can navigate perfectly through the storm and that's the creator of the storm. These people are very powerful, formidable, and they are much smarter than we make them out to be and we always seem to do that."

Trump represents an upending of the status quo. Decades of servitude underneath the thumb of a country beholden to an unelected shadow government.

This storm is nothing to fret but rather should be welcomed by all. We cannot go back to the world before this happened nor should we want to.
