Maintain Your Focus - Seek The Fathers Heart

"Examine me, God, and know my heart; test me, and know my thoughts. See if there is in me any hurtful way, and lead me along the eternal way."
(Psalm 139:23-24)(CJB)

" So then they come to you, as people do, sit in front of you as my people, and hear your words; but they don’t act on them. For with their mouths they flatter you, but their hearts are set on their own self-interest; so for them you are like a love-song sung by someone with a nice voice who can play an instrument well — they hear your words, but they don’t act on them. So when all this comes true, then, at last, they will realize that a prophet has been there with them."(Ezekiel 33:31-33)(CJB)

What you do with what God shows you or plants in your spirit is on you? We are called to a higher place; not a place of high meaning arrogance or pride, but, a place that is in God - on His higher ground for us; a place of safety and well-being, of confidence and faith that "He who has begun a good work in us will see it through to its' completion until the day of Jesus Christ." (Philippians 1:6)

Gods heart should be our heart; His love for us should reflect in our love for He and for others, especially others in the family of God. The watchman is the one who watches over those entrusted to their care and whose sole responsibility is to love those they are assigned to watch over enough to speak truth and give warning when trouble is headed their way or especially when God has given the watchman warning that He is about to do something and the people need to know about it.

The heart of a warrior is one that puts his love for nation and others above himself and will do whatever it takes to do his duty accordingly. The same as a good shepherd, they will protect the flock with every ounce of love and strength that they can put forth to keep them safe and do their best to not even lose so much as one sheep; and when one is lost, they will look for it with the same fervor and love.

This is the heart of the child of God. When we turn and run to the "high tower" who is The LORD, ADONAI, our ABBA and FATHER - GOD Almighty - we are running to the safest place we could ever be. My heart is to reach as many as possible and do my best to help them to that safe place with me. Amen! Shalom!
