People say that .50 cals don't do damage.

I would encourage those people to take footage of their games and take a look at their aim. It's very easy to send bullets around the enemy and clip them with one or two on the outside of the spread, then conclude that they are bad.

If your aim is decent the .50 cal is a competent weapon.
