⚓️ Pacific Fleet missile ships fire Moskit cruise missiles in Sea of Japan

27.04.24 - As part of the winter training period inspection, the Pacific Fleet's missile ships live-fired Moskit cruise missiles at a sea target in the Peter the Great Bay.

A surface action group made of two R-261 and R-298 missile ships conducted a joint missile strike against a mock enemy warship.

The target was more than 90 kilometres away and was successfully hit by a direct hit of two Moskit cruise missiles.

More than 20 surface ships and support vessels of the Pacific Fleet were engaged in closing the area where live firing was carried out. Pacific Fleet's naval aircraft confirmed the target engagement. Source 🔹 Russian Defence Ministry
