Happening now near the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, organizers and participants of the Freedom Flotilla’s emergency mission to Gaza denounce the decision of Guinea-Bissau’s regime to withdraw its flag from two of the Flotilla’s three vessels.

Guinea-Bissau acted at the behest of Israel, whose ruling elite claims that it is not impeding humanitarian aid to Palestinians.

Yet, by urging Guinea-Bissau to take this unconscionable step, Israel’s genocidal regime has impeded the delivery of more than 5,000 tons of aid to Gaza’s desperate and starving civilian population.
