Puppy Missy Waits Patiently For Mom

Missy usually comes along whenever I run errands, and loves short or long drives. She knows she’ll end up going for a walk at a familiar place or be super surprised by a new location, even if it’s just a shopping center. She gets so excited on her walks, she practically walks me. She’s still young, learning, and full of energy, yet certainly knows how to chill. Being stuck in the same yard or living quarters, day after day can be boring, even depressing, for young dogs, and they can turn aggressive, so I do what I can to keep her cheery and friendly. Meeting or just seeing other people, dogs and animals is good for her; she loves when strangers walk by and want to meet her, so she can play with them. I always have to warn strangers, if they start baby talking to her while passing, that they’re going to have to pet her or don’t speak to her and get her excited lol; some gladly take her on and allow her to jump and kiss all over them. I also have to ask dog owners if their dog is friendly as Missy tries to pull me over to meet every dog; she loves other dogs but If a dog is nasty, growls or wants to bite first, she gets upset, then wants to dish it right back. Missy never starts anything with other dogs, just replies! ☺️Sort of like President Trump! lol.

Occasionally, it’s the smallest dogs that start trouble first; I just hold the leash tight and move along.

The yard at winter’s end isn’t too boring because she has plenty of new lizards, bees and other critters to chase around, and sometimes snack on ☺️
