Today looks to be the hottest day of the year so far. Bakersfield will be climbing to a high of 92 this afternoon, close to today's record of 95 set back in 1989. For an hourly forecast, expect the 60s this morning to jump to the 70s in the 9 a.m. hour with the mid-80s for your lunch hour and those 90s from about 3 to 5 p.m.
