First: President Joe Biden signed into law a conditional ban of the video-sharing app TikTok yesterday. Today, Dan Novak reports about what happened when India banned the app almost four years ago.

Next: Lawmakers in some states are proposing laws that make it harder for people to get books removed from public libraries. Activists say book bans target minorities and LGBTQ+ people. Gregory Stachel has the story.

Then: Petrobras, Brazil’s state-run oil company, is facing resistance to its drilling plan. The company wants to search for oil in the country’s northeast. But native people there say their concerns are not being heard. Dan Friedell and Gena Bennett report.
