If these are the best cities to retire, we're doomed

U.S. News & World Report released its list of the top cities in the United States for retirement and it is a joke.

Among the top 10 cities, seven are in Pennsylvania and one is...wait for it...NEW YORK CITY! Do you see why we're doomed yet?

Sure, all that lawlessness, homelessness, and crime in New York City is appealing. Or maybe it's the fact things are so affordable there?

This is why I say we are doomed. Of all of the cities, the criteria for the best places to retire yielded this list?

1. Harrisburg, PA
2. Reading, PA
3. Lancaster, PA
4. Scranton, PA
5. Allentown, PA
6. New York City, NY
7. York, PA
8. Daytona Beach, FL
9. Youngstown, OH
10. Pittsburgh, PA

Yeah, right.

I believe God-fearing, flag-waving conservatives should be living bigger, more abundant retirements. Take it from a fellow Yankee; PA and New York City wouldn’t qualify as an abundant retirement (generally speaking). 😉
