Wild Bobcats Mating – Must See Nature Video!

I captured video footage of wild bobcats mating, not once but twice! It happened on February 16th, 2024, then again on February 17th, 2024. If you watch closely at the beginning of the video, you will see the female go into the den on the 16th. The male tries to get her to come out of the den. It took 7 hours for her to come out so that they could mate. Then on the 17th, the video starts with the male going into the den and the female is already in there. This time, it took 3 hours for her to come out. Once her head was out, the male bit the skin on the back of her neck and drug her out and started to mount her. They moved off the rock ledge and onto a slope covered in leaves. This caused them to slide over the hill out of sight. Four hours later, they reappeared on the rock ledge and didn’t seem very happy with each other as you can tell by all the growling. The video clips come from 4 different cameras, so you will see the framing change as I use clips from each camera.
Four days later, the female is back bathing by the den, when a Racoon shows up and goes into the den. The Racoon was scared but made it into the den without the Bobcat attacking it.
