South Carolina coach Shane Beamer took over the Gamecocks in 2021 and led them to a 20-18 record, which includes two bowl berths. He has developed future NFL stars in quarterback Spencer Rattler and wide receiver Xavier Legette, who he touts as future stars at the next level. The 2024 Gamecocks are looking to get back into SEC contention with a loaded quarterback room and a new defense that could complement the offense in a big way.
