BONITO BONANZA :D! Jetty Fishing At Newport Beach, CA

In this video, yah boi Sven goes first time Bonito fishing, this is also my cousins' first time Bonito fishing :D We head out on a jetty which I've heard is a good Bonito fishing spot. We wanted to go early morning jetty fishing and fish as the sun came up. Unfortunately, the Bonitos weren't there as early as we thought they were going to be, but after a few hours they came rushing in, and oh man did they not stop. It was a literal Bonito bonanza I tell yah. All of us were catching Bonito left and right, I landed a monster and PB for myself, a nice 2 lb and 15.5 incher! Just as we were about to call it quits, I hook into another one of these bad bois as I was casually talking and giving my thoughts, just comes to show you never know when they'll get yah, but when they do, they get yah quick! Beautiful fish, such neat patterns on them, and they're amazing fighters, you'll take your gear for a run!

I also want to mention that this is the first video where I start my new tradition. I will release the first fish I catch regardless of what it is (unless it's gravely wounded or gut shotted, if it is then I need to make sure it's a legal species I can keep). Just want to return the favor, any day I can go out fishing is a blessing in itself, catching just one fish to beat the skunk is another blessing on top of that, so I want to pass my gratitude to the first fish I catch. You heard it here first hopefully, I'm going to call it #firstfishfreedom

Just wanna do a quick shoutout to beautiful wife Amber as well, she made us breakfast burritos, various sandwiches, and bought some soda for us to take out to enjoy on the jetty when we got hungry, you da best honey ;)
