Not enough: Russia vetoes US and Japan’s draft allowing weapons in space

Russia has vetoed a US-Japan resolution on deploying weapons in outer space, with both Moscow and Beijing accusing Washington of seeing the cosmos as yet another area for weaponization. Meanwhile, the US has accused Moscow of developing nuclear weapons for space, which could be used against satellites – claims that Russia denies.
