Living in the Shadows: Why our new comic focuses on immigration

"Adriana" and her family worried that letting us write about them for a series on the plight of DREAMers and their families could put them in danger of discrimination and deportation. So we found a way to do it while keeping them safe: Instead of showing their faces, turn their story into a comic.
